This is gonna be a short post but first... It's the big sale at Meeples this weekend! A major 30% off all boardgames so if you haven't heard about it, now is the time to empty your bank account and rush to Meeples before they're all gone, I heard literally hundreds of boardgames flew off the shelves and transferred ownership on the first day of the sale alone. And here are some pics of my bag of loot!

After tabling my budget proposal to the local finance minister, I got the approval to purchase the following:

Ah I've finally taken full advantage of a sale properly after so many years. Too bad Mage Knight was out of stock

So let's have a look at what comes in these big box of goodies!

This exercise reminded me very much of Ora Et Labora. Just pieces and pieces of punch outs

I was actually really dismayed part way through because I thought one punch out sheet was missing. Found it under the pillow :P

Well that's it for now. I'll transfer them from baggies to containers later. Can't wait to play this game despite the negative feedback I've heard recently

I was really tired after the whole Suburbia opening experience so I didn't take any "before" pictures for Airlines Europe or Innovation but neither of these boardgames required much work in terms of unboxing.

Gonna try with my in-laws who aren't boardgamers unless you count Scrabble which my mother-in-law rules at

I can't wait to try Innovation either, although I think the only person who will play this with me is Mo

Now... the dilemma that plagues each boardgamer after the initial initiation into the hobby. Where am I gonna put all the new loot?
